BIO

Nikki Osborne (born 1977 in Rochford, United Kingdom) is a contemporary English artist who lives and works in Woodbridge, United Kingdom. She is known for abstract landscape paintings that explore the atmosphere and shifting light of wild places. Working primarily in oils, she builds layers of translucent and opaque colour to evoke the emotional resonance of the landscape and the luminosity of the sky.

She completed the Professional Landscape Programme at Newlyn School of Art, Newlyn, United Kingdom, and studied with the Landscape Atelier. Her work has been exhibited in group exhibitions at Tremenheere Sculpture Gallery and at Chapel House Hotel, in the United Kingdom.

Having originally studied zoology and medicine before a career as a doctor, Nikki’s background informs her sensitivity to life’s transience and her deep connection with the natural world. This perspective underpins a practice rooted in observation, contemplation, and a search for stillness and peace within wild nature.
